This is an external activity NOT organised by Preston Park u3a but it is available to Preston Park u3a members and others who wish to learn to play Racketball.

It is a fun game for all abilities, all ages, and easy to learn. Played on a squash court using a racket with a short handle and a large head and a bigger and bouncier ball than for squash. It needs less energy than squash and is easy to pick up even if you have never played a racket sport before. Enjoy playing this fun, social game that helps keep you fit.

Ours is a friendly group of women and men, mainly of ‘u3a age’, with a professional coach.

Your own non-marking trainers must be worn. All equipment is provided. Sue Barlow can give you more information and introduce you to the club.  

There's plenty of free parking on site  at the Weald Tennis and Squash Club, South Bank, Hassocks.
