Anne Bickmore will give a talk on 'The work of the ABC Fund'. Anne set up this charity in 1991 to help underprivileged children. It is a well established children's charity who provide trips and treats for local children facing adversity.
In 2013 Anne received the British Empire Medal in the Queen's honours list for her charity work.
Gill Bidwell will also be collecting u3a members' donations for the Gathering Place Food Bank in Hollingbury.
