Our group approaches history in its broadest context, i.e. it can be the history of anything and is certainly not limited to monarchy and wars, although they are also included. At each meeting a member gives a talk on their chosen subject which is followed by general discussion.

We meet once a month to listen to a presentation by a group member on a topic which interests them. This is followed by discussion. It is a friendly and informal group. We try to understand how a knowledge of the past informs the present and guides the future.

We hold our monthly meetings at members’ houses with the option of holding meetings on ZOOM when appropriate.

This group has a full complement of members at the moment, but we can put you on a waiting list.
