We work through on-line courses at first year degree level.
Topics have included:
- Linear algebra – Vectors & matrices.
- Mandelbrot set – Called "God's thumbprint?
- The Clay Millennium problems – $1,000,000 reward for solving.
- Number Theory – Prime numbers are unpredictable building blocks. Internet shopping.
- Information Theory - Getting the message through.
- Special numbers – Or are all numbers special?
- Group Theory - Bell ringing. The theorem that won World War II.
- Logic – What is true? Is False False = True?
This group meets on Zoom and has room for new group members. You need to have background knowledge up to A’ level maths.
